Poplar Lineal Frame Stock, 3, 4, or 6 Foot

Description

Our Poplar wood comes in 3-foot, 4-foot, and 6-foot lengths and is machine tooled into one face frame size at 1-3/8″.   Characteristics of poplar are:

• Accepts paint well.
• Pale blond to grayish white with green, brown, and dark purple streaks.
• Color darkens with time.
• Not recommended for staining.

To Make Your Own Frame from our 1-3/8″ stock:

• Add 2-1/16″ to the size of your glass panel in order to calculate the outside edge of your frame.
• Mark the wood and cut the miter.
• This is a rough guide; always remeasure each time you make your cuts.
